COVID-19: Virgin Australia cancels flights ahead of possible Victorian lockdown

The SMH is reporting that Virgin Australia is cancelling 10+ flights in and out of Melbourne today as a result of the current COVID-19 outbreak.

Their call centre is being deluged. Just remember that you can cancel or change your Virgin Australia booking via the website without additional fee charges yourself, or via your travel agent.

Expect more cancellations and schedule changes if a lockdown for Melbourne/Victoria is announced at the press conference scheduled for 10:30 or 11am today (Thursday 27 May)
