After a 16 year absence, Air India flies in with Austrlia’s first passenger carrying 787 commercial landing, promising to exploit Australia’s untapped market.

It would be the only direct flight, except it goes via Melbourne.

Just in time for my scheduled trip to India in October next year. On the other hand, given their service reputation – I might run with Singapore Airlines for more comfort over a longer trip.
