QANTAS: First Class International lounge to open on 19 April?

According to ET, who obviously have better sources than I do, Qantas will announce on Thursday (15 April 2021) its schedule for the opening of their international lounges.
The prediction is they will coincide with the creation of the Trans-Tasman bubble between Australia and New Zealand on 19 April – that’s next Monday!
The speculation is that in Sydney and Melbourne, it won’t muck around with just the Qantas Club – it will go full-on lounge by throwing open the frosted doors and plant wall of the Qantas First Class lounges to all eligible frequent flyers.

The aviation industry has a difficult road ahead when it comes to sustainability. It’s going to require a relative revolution in technology, with ‘electric planes’ or hydrogen planes, or some form of jet engine that doesn’t require a carbon based fuel. And that is going to require the development of an alternative to jet engines probably.
It’s a big ask. It will take time to develop.
This move to home grown and manufactured SAF is a first step – maybe even a baby step in a very long road of innovation. In the long run, US$200 million won’t even touch the sides.
Hooray!
Bring on the salt and pepper squid.
