SINGAPORE: Travel bubble on the horizon?

Our Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt reports that re-opening between Singapore and Australia is in ‘rapid development’.
“I’ve met with Singapore [Health] Minister Ong Ye Kung only on Friday, and we were discussing precisely this: an expedited green-lane travel proposal for fully vaccinated travellers from Singapore. That’s under, I call it, rapid development,”
Australian Health Minister Greg Hunt
3 Phases for international travel
According to Minister Hunt, there will be 3 phases:
- allow fully vaccinated Australians to return, and citizens to leave
- priority visa holders, (including students and priority workers) to return – details TBA
- allow fully vaccinated international travellers including tourists into Australia
Under the national reopening plan, priority visa holder entry will be capacity limited until Australia enters phase B of the plan after 70 per cent of the adult population is fully vaccinated.

I love digital, except when my phone dies, which happened to me on the last night of my recent visit to New Zealand
Travel bubble’s between Singapore and other countries have had a chequered history. I think the Australia/Singapore bubble is close but will believe it when I see it.
