B737-800 Max back in the air by July?

Too soon?

Bloomberg is reporting (according to SMH.com) that Boeing has told Indian budget carrier SpiceJet (one of the biggest MAX customers), that the currently grounded (due to 2 tragic accidents in India and Ethiopea) 737 is expected to be back in service in July. Stories until now have suggested a much later return to the skies for the troubled Jet, some even predicting 2020.

This might be a tad optimistic given the scrutiny European regulators intend to give to the whole automated flight system before they will allow it back into the air.

The 737 Max is the newest fuel-efficient version of the world’s most popular (with airlines, by sales) jet aeroplane.
