Departures Board, Qantas Sydney First Lounge

Hello travellers.

All you heard this week was Qantas, Qantas, Qantas

Yes, this was the week for the announcement of the biggest changes to the Qantas Frequent Flyer Scheme in 32 years. Actually, it was a bit of an expensive-media-event-at-the-Sydney-Cricket-ground, about nearly nothing. You can read my predictions, and my comments on the reality - so make up your own mind about how right or wrong I was.

What else happened last week?

More Qantas, with announcements about Brisbane to Chicago, and San Francisco routes. I also wrote an informal guide to unpublished benefits of Platinum Status. Skytrax announced their awards (for what that's worth), and that's about it.

Yes, yes, I know I promised trip reports. I'm getting to them. The take a lot of time you know.

Catch up on last weeks posts below. Until next week . . .

Happy Travels,
2PAXfly

Skytrax Best Airline 2019 is . . .

By 2paxfly on Jun 19, 2019 01:02 pm

No surprise. Qatar Airlines skytrax best airline 2019 Whatever you think of the whole Skytrax award system, and there are plenty who think about it a lot . . . I think this award is correct. In my – admittedly limited – experience, Qatar is one of the best airlines in the air – and […]
