Palms, Fiji

Hello travellers,

Fiji Bound

Time for a mid-year break?

We are cashing in some Qantas points, and heading for Fiji this week, for just over a week.

You, dear readers, should be the beneficiaries. Well, you and my novel reading count.

Torrens River Adelaide

What happened last week?

Three Australian cities were listed in the top 10 most livable cities by The Economist, including my home town, Adelaide, my adopted home, Sydney, and my favourite city to visit, Melbourne.

Qantas brought its international carry-on luggage into line with its domestic rules for premium passengers.

I also reviewed Virgin Australia's domestic business class, and reviewed the Peppers Waymouth Hotel in Adelaide.

You'll find links to the stories below

What's coming up?

I promise I will get to some more posts from the Honeymoon Trip to South America including a look at some of the food scene including the top 100 restaurants in the world listed Tegui.

Expect some initial observations about Fiji, and Fiji Airways.

Catch up on last weeks post below. Until next week . . .

Happy Travels,

2PAXfly

Qantas: increases luggage allowance for international premium passengers

By 2paxfly on Sep 04, 2019 01:06 pm

Qantas is aligning its international carry on luggage policy with its new domestic policy. You can now bring on 1 x 10kg bag (115cm), or 2 x bags (105cm each) totalling 14kg, each bag no more than 10kg, or 1 x 10kg (105cm) and a soft garment bag (185cm) Those measurements above are achieved by adding […]

Review: B737-800 Virgin Australia VA436 Sydney to Adelaide

By 2paxfly on Sep 04, 2019 06:00 am

Introduction With over 36,000 spare KrisFlyer points that were about to run out, I decided to redeem them for a Virgin Australia Business Class airfare on one of my regular trips between Sydney (New South Wales) and Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. That way, I got to travel on Virgin Australia which is not […]

Review: Peppers Waymouth Hotel, Adelaide

By 2paxfly on Sep 03, 2019 06:00 am

Introduction This is a hotel I stay at regularly – maybe every 2nd month. Most of the images in this review and the comments relate to a stay in November 2018. Where I had a different experience, you will find additional comments that relate to other stays and other guest rooms in the hotel. Details […]
