COVID-19: Australian State Border closures and restrictions in one place
Over the last few months, I have spent a lot of time monitoring Australian state premiers and their COVID-19 related press conferences each morning and then posting any news or border restrictions here on the blog. It’s time-consuming, but you, dear readers seem to appreciate the updates.
But there is a better way to keep up on state border restrictions impacting interstate travel, and strangely, it is on the Tourism Australia website which is primarily targeted at overseas travel audiences.
Just click on the ‘Border Status’ button near the bottom of the screen, and you will be taken here:
So you can easily check state border restrictions. Click on the ‘Check Border Status’ button, and you will be greeted with a page displaying each states border status. The ‘Learn more’ links will take you through to each state’s most current information on travel and border status restrictions.
