Qantas customer satisfactiond down. Surprised?

This chart is from Roy Morgan Research – Airline satisfaction survey, based on a survey of over 4,000 participants.

To give you an idea of the spread of satisfaction –

The average satisfaction for International Airlines is only 77%, with airlines such as Jetstar International, Tiger Airways International, Delta Airlines, United, and American Airlines all rating under 60%.

So – that does put Qantas in the top section.

The surpise for me is Thai. Thai doesn’t have the best seats (especially in business) or the best food, but the service is always good, and so are the prices.  Seems to work for them. Maybe Qantas could take a leaf out of their book – at least on the service front.
